Adan K. Pope

Adan K. Pope joined SoundThinking in 2024 to lead our further investment in  Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Adan is a leading authority on digital transformation, strategic technology leadership, and technology disruption, with over thirty years of career experience.

Prior to joining SoundThinking, Adan served as the Chief Technology Officer at Intrado Life and Safety, where he led a team all aspects of product development, engineering, 911 networks, technical operations, and security departments for an expansive portfolio. He has served a senior executive for many other enterprises including: InnerWorkings, Ciena, Ericsson, Telcordia, ShopperTrak all executing a digital or portfolio transformation that led to their strategic renaissance, growth, and at times, acquisition.  Adan started his career at AT&T Bell Labs as a software engineer.

Adan has collaborated and spoken extensively on the opportunities, emerging technologies, standards, and patterns for the reimagination of the communications industry while co-authoring several patents in the process and publishing a book on the matter “Respect the Weeds digital Transformation Rooted in Principles Leadership Vision and Innovation”. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Science from DeVry Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio.
